St. Helena Auto Repair has been on McCormick Street since 1986. It started as a family business and it still is one.

Ricardo Ramirez runs the shop today. He took it over from his father, Victor, and works on cars the same way — look at it properly, say what you find, and do the work that needs doing. Yesenia Ramirez handles the office, the billing and the scheduling, so there’s always someone here to talk to.

Forty years in a town this size means we’ve probably worked on your neighbor’s car, and maybe yours. People come back because we tell them straight what a repair will cost and whether it’s worth doing. That’s most of the job.

We’re also an official State of California licensed Smog Check inspection and repair station, so you can get the test done and any work it turns up handled in the same place.
